The UCEENS has vast experience in the study of obesity physiology and its prevention and treatment through nutrition and probiotics and functional foods supplementation approaches.
In addition, we have carried out studies focused on the identification of new clinical biomarkers in humans and animal models. Also, we are performing in vitro studies in adipose tissue.
The UCEENS includes researchers with substantial experience in conducting human clinical studies, as well as animal models, using Xmap technologies and performing bioinformatic analysis of massive omic data for those.
